North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce some exciting proposals that will enhance patient care for the local community served by Stamford and Rutland Hospital.

The Trust has been granted funding approval for a brand-new state-of-the-art Treatment Centre on the site of the former nurse’s accommodation block – with plans due to be formally presented to South Kesteven District Council within the next few weeks.

The proposed new facility will provide four procedure rooms, 12 standard sized cabin-style changing rooms with ensuite, plus two larger recovering bays. If plans are approved, construction could start as early as 2024, with the first patients being treated in 2025.

The Treatment Centre will be run and managed by North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust as an additional healthcare service and will be a qualitative improvement to Stamford and Rutland Hospital’s offering.

We would very much like to invite you to an informal information evening to chat with our Estates team, project planners and architects to find out more about these exciting plans and give your feedback before they are submitted to the local authority.
