Dean Odell promoted to Healthwatch Lincolnshire Contract Manager

We are pleased to announce that existing team member Dean Odell has been promoted to Healthwatch Lincolnshire Contract Manager, and that he has now taken up the role.

A familiar face to many, Dean Odell joined our team in March 2014 as a graduate intern from the University of Lincoln and was initially tasked with supporting our data and research work. In 2017 he was promoted to Research, Data and Communications Officer and later to Healthwatch Contracts Co-ordinator. 

Dean said:

“I am delighted to be taking on this role, and as the Healthwatch Lincolnshire Contract Manager, along with the team, I want Healthwatch Lincolnshire to continue to be the leading independent voice for the people of Lincolnshire in health and social care matters.”

Dean went on to say,

“Our aim is always to ensure that the voices of people using these services are heard, considered and acted upon, as well as being a critical friend to services where necessary and, of course, not forgetting sharing the great care and quality service that is provided by a struggling workforce.”

Sarah Fletcher, CEO of HWLincs, the charity behind Healthwatch said:

“We are delighted that Dean has accepted his internal promotion to the position of Healthwatch Lincolnshire Contract Manager.  

“Becoming manager of the contract will enable him to take on more ownership and control, be recognised as the ‘go-to’ person for Healthwatch and most importantly ensure we continue to exceed in delivering our performance requirements.”
