Courageous Conversations in Turbulent Times

Since March 2020, Lincolnshire, along with the rest of the United Kingdom has entered unprecedented and disorientating times as we all seek to adjust to a ‘new normal’ during a time of global pandemic.

During this time stark inequalities and associated issues have been highlighted and brought to the fore particularly by the #BlackLivesMatters movement and the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 on BAME communities. It is clear that “we are all in the same storm but not in the same boat”.

JUST Lincolnshire is facilitating a series of conversations in order to highlight inequalities, amplify seldom heard voices and learn more of the impact of these issues on different sectors.

and it was held in conjunction with Voluntary Centre Service. The conversation was exploring the impact on the Third Sector on recent global and local events. The conversation was extremely insightful and impactful with plenty for attendees to take away with them.

The courageous conversation was exploring the impact on education throughout the recent global and local events. The conversation was diverse, inclusive and touched on the importance of education being the way forward.
