Direct Payment users needed to help review Lincolnshire County Council's Direct Payment Policy
From Lincolnshire County Council
Do you receive Direct Payments from Lincolnshire County Council? Can you spare some time to help review and update our Direct Payment Policy?
We would like to seek the views of people who use Direct Payments.
We would like your involvement to help us check things like:
- Is the new Draft Policy easy to understand and written in plain English?
- Is it clear who can and who cannot receive a Direct Payment?
- Is it clear what Direct Payments can and cannot be used for?
- Does it reflect Direct Payments and how they work?
- Is it clear where to go for support, information and advice?
- Is it clear how people contact Lincolnshire County Council should they need to?
You will be given a copy of the Draft Direct Payment Policy to review, and the necessary time to do that. Dependent on your preference we could hold a online meeting, telephone call, or you can send us email with your comments.
We will need to complete the review by the end of July/early August but will be as flexible as possible based on your and their availability.
Once the engagement has taken place, we will review any feedback received and incorporate the recommendations. Where we do not take on board recommendations we will explain why. Once approved, the updated Direct Payment Policy will be available online.
