Feeling Cut Off?
Coronavirus has made us all realise everyone has vulnerabilities. We can only imagine how a disruption in water and power supplies would impact our communities. But there is help, by signing up and supporting others to be part of the Priority Services Register, if the unexpected happens you will get the help you need.
During these current challenges we know being part of the Priority Services Register can also link you into some of those other services which are needed when a crisis happens. Millions of people are missing out nationally, please don’t let our communities in Lincolnshire be among them.
Anglian Water and Western Power have joined forces to provide support for power and water services in one quick and simple sign-up. Just quote “Healthwatch” when you register to make sure you get the right assistance.
Sign up now at https://www.westernpower.co.uk/customers-and-community/priority-services, or call free on 0800 096 3080. Don’t forget to say your local Healthwatch told you about the service.
People eligible for this free service include those who are blind/partially sighted, deaf or hard of hearing, rely on electricity for home medical equipment, are of pensionable age, have a child under 5 years old, have mental health problems, have a chronic / serious illness, live with dementia or cognitive problems, can’t communicate in English and more.
