Important Information About How to Share your Health and Care Experiences with Lincolnshire Healthwatch and CQC
Following discussions with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) there are some aspects which we want to share with the Public and anyone with an interest in the Health and Care Sector.
The CQC have made various amendments to how they are inspecting services during the COVID-19 pandemic and these can be found on their website https://www.cqc.org.uk/ . We, as a local Healthwatch, will continue to work with the CQC to ensure that ourselves and CQC continue to receive information from the Lincolnshire public which is essential in monitoring how our services are run.
In addition to our local campaigns, which will be running from the 10th April 2020, we would like to make you aware that any individual concerns relating to specific services that yourself or a loved one receives can still be shared with us by contacting info@healthwatchlincolnshire.co.uk or by using the CQC online form which can be found here Contact Us .
We would also like to share with you an opportunity to sign up to the CQC Citizens Lab. This is an online platform where CQC is seeking the Public, Providers, Community and Voluntary Sector views of certain aspects of their work. It also gives you an opportunity to take part in surveys and learn about any changes CQC are making in relation to their inspections or registrations of services, particularly at this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is our hope that giving feedback on your Health and Care Services becomes a natural activity for everyone in Lincolnshire because only by hearing your views can we all help change the way services work for the better.
