Personal Health Budgets Update
Healthwatch Lincolnshire have starting doing some work looking at personal budgets (PB) and personal health budgets (PHB).
In particular we want to identify the benefits of using PB/PHB; the challenges presented and in particular why people who could be using them aren’t.
Overall we want to see if people have more ‘choice and control’ over the provision of their care.
The first meeting of appropriate professionals is due to take place on 16th October and then we will we want to talk to some individual service users.
A group meeting of users/potential users has already been arranged in November.
